Offboard movement is horrible, in my opinion...moving sideways is too difficult.

Yeah, there are some parts of the game that suck if you're not a real life skater.  But yes, walk is a bit choppy.

I'm saving up my money for a PC350, besides, I'd rather buy Mirrors Edge rather than Skate 2.

ME is great, got it for PC last night, and there's a snow day! :D  Time to go download the Skate 2 demo.
