Datablock variables seem like a terrible way to go about this.  Imagine if you wanted to use a 1x2 flat for a metal bar, and you wanted to have various metals of different mass.  You'd have to create a different datablock for every one.  The better way to go about it would be to have a per-brick variable that declares mass, and if the mass variable is nonexistent or invalid, the physics calculation is based on volume.  However,  I'm not sure if this is something Badspot is willing to add.

Sometimes simplicity is good. Also, different densities makes the simulation more likely to screw up. Especially when they are user specified, guaranteeing some idiot will crank it up to +INF because they want neutronium.

i love this, btw someone asked if there is a option or GUI that when activated, it makes all the bricks with the new kill event, or is that even possible.

Well, that's why you impose a limit on the range of valid densities.  Then a slider could be added to the wrench GUI for adjusting each brick.  It's a good amount of work, and I'm not necessarily convinced it's something that should be added, but it's something to think about.

I would love a ball pit.

I would love a ball pit.

I tried to make one but it would have taken ages to wrench all the bricks and I  would have gotten a schedule quota hit.

I've heard people say you can change it, but I never could find out how.

Advanced config before you start a server, or RTB Server Control (its the schedule quota one)

I just shat bricks that colided with teh floor

i think their trying to get rid of some lag maybe

Wow Trader, Really want to be in your v11 sever now even more then ever!  :cookieMonster:

I don't think you would be able to see the physics bricks since you don't have V11.
