They have more detailed facial expressions (but their face starts out distorted because of all the flex sliders starting at 0), it's like what Valve uses in their Meet the Class videos in terms of face detail like wrinkles and such

Also, the Gmod Beta's poster feature (which is pretty much like Blockland's Megashot feature) has an issue with stitching together screenshots so you can see visible seams throughout the image

Are you in the beta? Garry unclamped the sliders so now you can have HL2 characters with TF2-esque exaggerated faces, if you're not in the beta, perhaps something you got has messed it up?

well i'm not in the beta so it must be an addon.

EDIT: turns out the ragdoll I was using was messed up.
