It's probably going to be $250+.

It includes camera, internet, much more memory and other features. It gets rid of the
gba slot, though.

Never cared for the DSI. Now the amounts of me caring have gone into the negatives.

Here's the list of changes for Platinum SPOILERS

Anywho, it's got a ton of extra stuff, listed off more or less, here:

    * Certain Pokémon (namely Giratina, Rotom, and Shaymin) can transform, which changes their stats, available moves, and other things. Shaymin turns into a Grass/Flying type with Serene Grace. Giratina gets Levitate.
    * You can catch Dialga AND Palkia, a la Pokémon Emerald.
    * You can catch the original golem Trio (if you have a certain Regigigas) AND Regigigas.**** SEE THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST FOR INFO ON HOW TO OBTAIN THE GIGAS NEEDED TO UNLOCK THIS
    * You can catch the original bird Trio-- Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
    * The encounter charts are different.
    * There are fresh new dungeons, including a portion where you go into another dimension to hunt down Giratina.
    * Surf speed is something like double Diamond and Pearl's.
    * Animated Trainer sprites.
    * Ingame trainers use Ball Seals.
    * Redone Sinnoh Pokédex. MORE loving FIRE TYPES.
    * Amity Square is less of a pain in the ass because you can bring your starter.
    * Online Wifi amusement park with minigames galore, supports random wifi opponents.
    * Online Union Room.
    * Battle Recording device which lets you upload saved replays to Nintendo's servers and also download saved replays.
    * Battle Frontier with all the trimmings including Wifi Co-op.
    * Move Tutors that completely wreck our idea of how limited certain Pokémon were.
    * Nearly every Pokémon learns at least 1 new move during level-up.
    * Different storyline. Gyms are sometimes ENTIRELY different.
    * New sprites for a stuffload of Pokémon.
    * A few battle formula changes you probably don't care about.
    * Aggressive Double Battle encounters.
    * Way more Double Battles, a la Pokémon Emerald.
    * Gym Leader rematches. Also, the Elite 4 gets stronger with more rematches.
    * More postgame content for things like the Luxury Resort.
    * And much, much more!

Thats not too bad. Considering the extra feature it is pretty decent. Also, the camera on the inside works like that motion thing on the PS2. They're gonna use it on the new Wario Ware for the DS. Also, GTA China Town Wars!!! WOOT!!!

That GTA stuff is gonna suck, look at every other game the DS has forgeted up, the only games I ever cared for in DS were animal crossing and the pokemon games, other that that they forgeted them up.

How did they forget them up? I thought the first party and third-party games were great.

GTA is fine, even though I'm pretty dissapointed about the top-down camera. Why can they keep the regular camera?

If the DSI comes out in April then maybe I can coax my parents into buying it for my birthday which is in June, only about two months(I think 3 days less than the exact date).I have a DS but it corrupted half the games I own for it and has a bunch of fingerprints on it because I lost my touch pen thing.And not to mention I have a fun game for it that corrupted and I lost my uber katana :(

I want the game, but after reading the spoilers, it made me think the game is too babied. I beat Pearl with all 493 loving pokemon. No gameshark was used on MY GAMES. I had to trade with people who have used gamesahrks or action replays. Took me 560+ hours. Don't ask me how I did it.
