Here is the two variations of the blaster, a Bomb launcher and a Sniper!

StormBomber (View in 3D)

StormBomber W/Example (View in 3D)

StormSniper (View in 3D)

StormSniper W/Example (View in 3D)

Each also includes a description with more details, and now I just have to find someone who wants to help code those models.

does anyone know how I could render something like this thing?
http://acko.net/
it's at the top. it'll be the first thing you see. the kinda thing I'm interested in is the "EGA" style setting, which you can set in the menu in the top right

if your computer can't handle that or something, here's a short video of it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmIrXphustA

if I could do it somehow inside 3DS Max that would be wonderful, but if I needed to use some external renderer that would still be fine
I'm sure it could be done in something like After Effects, but I'm hoping for a quicker way of doing it

Rating depends on the ability to replace my tuna jar.

forget yeah thats a nice gat

I don't see anything about 3D models being digital only, so here is a clay model I molded and painted.

although it doesnt, i feel like thats more traditional 3d, so the best place to put stuff like that would be here. tones of sculpting stuff in there!

i already posted this in my digital art thread, but i made another earth (theyre just so fun)

The lighting is all wrong. The specular reflection on the sea suggests a second star.

idk for sure or anything but I don't think it's actually supposed to be a realistic representation of the planet. more likely, it's probaby just supposed to look nice, which it does

Actually, the OP states that the rules for this topic are the same as the old topic. The first rule of that topic is
Quote
Rules:
1: Just post any thing YOU (no "my freind made this" stuff) have made in a 3d modeling program.

So yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, looks sweet for a traditional model :D
