yeah but that's ridiculous. why would you use, much less suggest to someone new to modeling, an outdated program that isn't free, over a modern, fully-featured, and free program, like Blender
Because it's easy to use and you can still make some amazing stuff with it, like this:

(Note: I made it on Milkshape 3D)

Yeah, it's the modeler, not the program, which makes a good model.

That said, Blender will be much better for future use, if you ever want to do modeling outside of Blockland. It's also free. Milkshape doesn't have curves, it barely has animation and it doesn't have any sort of rendering. At this point, its only purpose is to make models for Blockland. But Blender has a billion uses, so I think that if anyone wants to learn modeling, they should start with Blender.

So I went through and I found one of my very first animations and complex models. I laughed so hard to see where I was and where I am today with Blender. I never thought I'd be working for a private animation  company when I made this. Enjoy!

To be fair, Night Fox, I do all my modeling for Blockland in Blender 2.49 anyway, so I'm also using outdated software. But yes, Blender is the more capable program.

Because it's easy to use and you can still make some amazing stuff with it, like this:
well, nobody said you couldn't. but I'm not sure I understand how that's an argument for using the program, since you can do the same things and more with others

Well I've mastered milkshape and I'm pretty happy with it for Blockland models, but once I get interested on modeling more advanced stuff I might try Maya or something, I really despise Blender, feels like they made everything difficult on purpose with all of those keybinds

thanks for the nightmare fuel

Looks very nice. Really shows off your modeling ability.
Thoughts?
needs more col0r

same here, i've mastered milkshape but found it incredibly hard to get into using blender

I did this for science.

Maya and 3DS Max are both free to students in secondary school and college

Oh wow that's really nice please release!

Science has proven to be successful, great job man!

So I finally decided to attempt to model a weapon, but it's not just any weapon, it's an arm blaster that shoots thunder-like laser rockets

I plan to change the orange neons to make 4 different colors of it for TDM minigames (Red, blue, yellow and green) and two other different laser guns, one that shoots sniper lasers (really fast, slow recharge) and a grenade laser (gravity effected, sticks on any surface and it explodes by clicking again)
