Nice detail, will the LED flash?

Nice detail, will the LED flash?
It better or i'm suing him! >:(

If someone bothers to script it, if not it will just rot in my models folder.

A trap gun (see Suggestions & Requests if you want to script and export the model):

Back view:

Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker Bomb (see Suggestions & Requests if you want to script and export the model):

Star Gun (obviously the plainest thing ever, but I had to base it from a tiny sprite image) (see Suggestions & Requests if you want to script and export the model):

More to come!

All could use improvement.

What is so bad about the windwaker bomb?

God pandan, I remember your first soda model(shudder)

You have improved so much.
It took you this long to realize Ive improved D:

Too many polys. Not blocko enough.
Don't get carried away with sketch up's creative tools.
Like on your trap gun.
It seems like you just used the extrude on each side of a hexagon to create a unique shape.

I think the part where the string protrudes is a little too thin. The string also doesn't need to have the grooves.

Hard to dodge polys when your using sketchup, but I expect once I find an exporter they can remove some. Also, tell me how I should make it more blocko.

I'm trying not to, but the hexagon design looked kinda nice. And besides, it makes a Hexagon-shaped trap. So it makes sense.

Really? I thought it was pretty thick :|
And the grooves probably takes away the blockiness of it right? If not, explain more.

Don't settle for stuff.

Listen, here is a little trick in sketch up.
Get out the polygon tool.
Type a number EXAMPLE "12" Then press S then press Enter.
Now, you can create a 12 sided polygon.

Be default, it's 6.

This is blockland. But not everything needs to have 6 loving sides.

I don't settle for stuff. I could change it, but I would end up redoing half the model.

It's not like 6 sides is so bad or anything.

Yay I fixed :D

What im trying to say..

Come up with a design for your model before you open sketchup.
It seems like you just made the trap gun model out of complete random.

Please don't get defensive on me. Im trying to help you.
Ive been modeling with sketch up for a little over a year now.

Yeah I started it without any plans and it was kinda late. :|
Really the trap gun was a test, but then I started to like it and get serious about making it an add-on.

Also don't you use 3ds Max? I would think so, you said you paid over $3495 for it. :|
