Infact, im going to make a modeling tutorial for sketch up.

See you on youtube!
Sensei MtnDew is off on his journey into self-awareness tutorial-ness.

I want DarkStar to teach me how to model in Blender, but I think when I ask him questions it irritates him :(

Well do you know the basics?

The arrow disappearing on the bow is not the work of LOD or moving the arrow really far away, it's actually done using Visibility Channels.

You can use the Visibility Channel panel on the right hand side to define which frames of animation the group is invisible for. Remember, the bit you want to disappear must be in it's own group!
All this ever seems to do is make the bolt flicker and never go fully invisible.

Transparency + Blockand = See through bricks.

I can answer questions to what I know of. I suck at modeling because I am lazy but I know how to use Blender

It doesn't irritate me its just that there's so many tuts that will teach you thesame thing I would teach you.

Use tab to get into edit mode, then all you basically need to create simple models are the keys b,r,s,e and g.

b - select tool, drag over the vertecies/faces/edges you need.

r - rotate whatever you have selected.

s- scale

e- extrude, select a face and hit this key, then press region. You'll see for yourself, hard to explain it.

g- move

after you hit those keys you can hit either y,x or z to scale on just that axis.
Practice doing this, just extruding faces, rotating them, extruding again and so on.
You'll eventually memorize it all and find ways to make whats in your head.

Also, some useful menus are:

W, Ctrl F, Ctrl V and Ctrl E. Thats not all of them but its the ones I use the most.
And if you're making something for blockland, doesn't scale in object mode because it messes up the lighting.

Gravity Guns look epic, maybe Space Guy would consider changing the model for his. :P

JAAAAAAAAARATE!

i don't know how to explain it but gates models look... crude? maybe?

they definately look great but the polygons seem all out of place and out of order

Jarate! :D
Did you ever finish the tutorial?
