Other than the textures, what's different?

Oh and space, you think you could make a LEVELING system for the Cavestory weapon? :o

The Polar Star starts at level 2 and increases when you get kills, falls when you get damaged.
The Nemesis starts at level 1. Missed shots fire the yellow crystals everywhere. Picking one up levels up the gun, levels down when you get damaged.

Nice model. It could use some different textures for the sections of the weapon. (connecting parts darker?)

Easy GIF Animator.
Resize transparency and it forgets up totally, but it's good when you don't resize.

Other than the textures, what's different?

The previous slide of photos shows changes Space Guy suggested.
Make the bulb of the flashlight flat rather than rounded.
Make the round end parts of the barrel a slightly different colour to the main part of the gun.
Make the trigger of the gun a lighter colour.
Also in those photos (although you can't actually see it), I did this as well:
remove more polys and fix a small thing with the slide.


I liked the old light.
I can't say I liked the old one, or the new flat one. So I made another one that I like more better:




I've removed more polys, marking the count at 390. I am pleased that it continues to go down when I'm adding more shapes. :D

When you export it to dts every box will be split and double.
That's if you do it wrong and export it with back faces. If you've made the model right it won't.
