Author Topic: The new and improved 3D model topic!  (Read 4653659 times)

I'm really happy today because I finally managed to rig an old model of mine, infact this was my first time rigging, some of it is a bit borky but I think I did well for my first rig :D

I finally made something.

is... that

the PBPP

oh god i love that thing

also, does anyone know how I would rotate a mesh in Blender so a particular face's normal points down?

Or you can do something much much easier and name the object mesh of the crystal 'crystal'
and add hide node for 'crystal' into the script..
Create a node for the crystal and then use obj.hideNode("Crystal");
that's cute. too bad you can't call a hidenode function on weapons.

Geez, every time I come to this thread there's 20 more pages.

wip (obviously)

also pi, those models look awesome
EDIT:

not bad considering how my last model was absolute crap

and that's a rap folks
what the forget did you do to the stock
Yeah I was having some problems with that, I'm going to re-do it later

So good. Also, I can't believe no one has thought of that joke before!

handle sign thingy seems a bit too tall, front sight ought to be lowered too as such

At this point, I don't even care how good they look. I'm just doing them to do them.

Holy forget knoz I'm willing to script those weapons for you if you don't have anybody yet.
They're bloody awesome brilliant!

Well, I don't actually have anyone to script them, but at this point I don't know if I want to put them in game.

The 70 something weapons (including the 6 buildings) might take a while to prepare for going in game (putting joints, necessary animations, exporting, standardizing textures, etc.)
