Sims was a simulation game. So was spore. The only difference is that he gone into stages of evolution as he saw it in spore and in sims only focused on life as the human race exist. There is a little difference but the concept remains the same. Also, no one cares for graphics.

I like the combinations you could do in Cell Stage.

Jet + Poison, and you'll spread poison everywhere.

Spikes + Jaws, and you'll get to damage giant cells since your jaws can't hurt them.

Eletrocute thing + Jet, and you can be a fighter plane and zap other cells like you're shooting down other planes in Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

Are you an idiot or just plain an idiot?
Without Sims SPORE probably wouldn't exist. Sims pretty much laid the groundwork for Maxis' aim at life simulation (Simcity was a city simulation, so that was a different story, and yes Sims and SPORE are both life simulation games).
I can't believe you play a Maxis game and hate Sims. It's like saying you love McDonalds but you hate fast food restaurants.

And you just looked at Sims 1 from 2000. Look at Sims 3 videos, it's just about better than SPORE in graphics.



I wonder if there will be another problem with installation like with Cute and Creepy where the C&C installer couldn't detect SPORE properly and wouldn't install. And then about 50% of the userbase is affected by it apparently and Maxis literally just ignores them and hopes it goes away while they go ahead and try to hype everyone up for another expansion pack. Oh, this one promises space adventures? My guess is that it'll just end up being an extra parts pack for your spaceship.

Well I'll go out to work today oh wait I got fired for staying home and taking care of my kid for 3 days, well that sucks. I'll just have to buys some food for that annoying kid, oh no I got no money because i didn't go to work. Hey theres a phone call but I cant get out of bed until 20 minutes later because I am so lazy..... What child services is taking that kid away that I lost my job for, wow I am broke, lonley and bored I think I will start a house fire and die. Yeah not that fun if you do one thing wrong. In Spore your actions never are bad and they give you a chance to change them in space by changing archetype. Yeah by the way Sim City actually was the foundation for the civilzation and space stage.
