1 GB is alright enough if your on XP.

1 Gig total, or add 1 Gig to it?

Total, because seriously 400 MHz is really not good.

I don't know the specs of your motherboard, whether or not it can handle DDR2 or higher MHz.

I have 1 gig of RAM already.

you need a 500 W power for a good graphics card.

2 gigs of ram on 400 would be fine :)

Not exactly. I have an EVGA GeForce 8600GT that can handle Crysis on custom (around medium) settings, and it requires no special power supply.

Even the 8600GTS; It only requires a 350W power supply.

Please, people, I still don't know what I need. RAM or a new processor?

Get out.

They honestly dont know what they are talking about.

Graphics card is what needs the Power, you techincally need a new processor and more ram.

If you get another gig of Ram you'll be fine.

Trust me, although if you are to get another processor that would be good too.

If you can, get both.
But I still am on conclusion that you need at least 2-3GBs of RAM.

Ok, I guess I will get another gig of RAM, when I can. I only have 8$ right now.

i think rams about 20-30ish  a gig.

dont quote me though.
