Finished the tutorial... I am still "wut"ing.

Avoid battles as much as possible, because "Economy is Everything."

I think EVE is cool. I got the 14 day demo that took up like 14 gig. It was confusing but I found it to be fun.

its simliar yet vastly better than Freelancer. (I played it before it went retail (beta) where it was still free)
It's similar in that it's in space, has battles and trading. That's it. EVE is more of a spreadsheet with some fancy UI, while Freelancer is more of a FPS in a 3D battlefield with some trading thrown in.

EVE is "LOL I HAVE +5 POINTS IN GULLOTINE FRIGATE WEAPONRY, I WIN"
Freelancer is "LOL I HAVE A HEAVY FIGHTER WITH NANOBOTS AND I CAN ACTUALLY FLY, I WIN"

I heard somewhere that EVE has this easter egg where you can fight other ships

That lasted the two weeks I tried to comprehend how this game worked ( and was fun?) while I played it...

How can you not understand the game after playing the tutorial? The first time I played EvE I grasped the game completely in under an hour...... People think it's complicated because of all of the windows that are text based but it is actually incredibly simple, I still regret buying a new HardDrive just for a few extra GBs of memory instead of getting a subscription to EvE D:

forget off

Anyways, I am getting the hang of the game now... maybe it would be a good idea to not try tutorials when you are extremely tired, but now the game is starting to make sense.

Fun Nooo I HATE MINING AND GETTING MY SHIP GANKED

It was ok when I played it.

If you get the expansion that's coming in a year or so, you'll be able to leave your ship and explore planets.

I'm going to try it again when that comes out

But EVE is far too boring for me.

I did the same a while back. Then I realized I'd rather be watching T.V.

So I did.
