Bushi, the color changing hands was glitched up. It set the color transform to the persons colored hands. Although you could make 64 different images (X2 since it scopes) and then find the persons closest hand color and then set it to that, but that would take many more datablocks than it's worth.

The problem with setting the color whatever to the persons hand color is that when another person equips it, all the guns change to their hand color.

Massive Bump from the Dead.
Coming to theaters near you!

whatever happened to this? I know I'm bumping but I never got to play it, and I really wanted to.

I think i'm gonna just go ahead and condemn this mod too. I mean, it's early days and you already have interpersonal problems and personality clashes all around. Generally online collaborative stuff fails, and especially when you're organising it in a single public forum thread.

I'm kind of ashamed it took me until page 49 to condemn this mod to failure. :panda:

I'd like to cite my flawless record of failed RPG predictions as a reference for this new prediction.

Oh well, my record of RPG fail predictions remains untarnished.

Does that mean if you do not voice your prediction on a RPG mod topic it has a chance of success?

Ephi, is this the Ephi RPG that everyone was talking about that one day in Badspot's lag Party?

I still have a working version, as do a few other people. Everything except resources works great, and resources are still very functional. Just no "storage bricks" like we wanted, where you would store your supplies and people could raid them n stuff. It's actually really fun to play. I haven't been on Blockland this year, maybe I'll host it again someday when I'm really bored.

I never catch people when they are hosting stuff, this is like saying I indeed shall never get to play it. :( It sounded like so much fun too..

Hey, leggo.  I have an older version.  Could I get an update to experiment with?  I think I may be able to fix the resources.  I just need a look.

Wait... Was I the one making the resources?

No, me and Tom were the main scripters for this mod, I don't know if you ever did anything to it since I no longer work on this project.

It was fun to play for a while, but I find that when I make things, they are a lot less fun to use and play with as opposed to when someone else makes it.

I guess all the times I had to run it, fix it, debug it, and then try it out again would make it pretty monotonous/boring for me.

Hey, maybe Mctwist will revive this.

I certainly won't, so for now it remains untarnished ;)

Oops double post

And my work on it is now removed due that the site we had it on was removed due they are helping Google Wave instead.
Something that a programmer has to face, is that if you create it, you will play it so much that you will get bored of it. A normal gameprogrammer does not play so much computergames after he got a job in gameprogramming than before.

Hey, maybe Mctwist will revive this.
If you do as any company does: Giving out new versions or updates; You'll see that people will continue use it because of the new features.
