METAL GEAR SOLID 5 IS COMING OUT?

I'd think that if a Metal Gear Solid 5 were to be made, it'd be another prequel like MGS3, just more recent. Maybe a remake of the original Metal Gear games.

Or, they might branch out and make another character, and only mention Snake in the game, but have no visual of him.

I wouldn't mind them continueing the series, as long as they kept some reference to the other games, so that it's a just a continuation of the plot.

It's not official that it'll be made, at all. It's only said that if it is made, it's going to be by a different director, and not Kojima.

The countdown clock on the mysterious Kojima Productions website is scheduled to run out at 18:00 hours today (6:00 PM PST). The giant "5" flashing in the background has led speculators to believe that Kojima Productions' next game will be Metal Gear Solid 5, but the secret is still safe. However, a listing on a Japanese 7-Eleven website reveals that the upcoming May 30th issue of Famitsu magazine will feature "new Metal Gear" coverage, which practically verifies that Kojima Productions' next game will be another Metal Gear.

Based on the fact that the May 30th issue of Famitsu is a special PlayStation 3 and PSP-only magazine, we're going to guess that this "new Metal Gear" is exclusive. Sorry Xbox 360 gamers.

We don't know if it is MGS, we just hope it will be. Well who knows, I bet they do a ton of coke in their dev-team computer labs.

Either way I'm fine with whatever game Konami produces, Kojima makes intense plots and deep characters.
