In my cave, there is a mob spawner on the roof somewhere.. Somewhere just above my cave there is a dungeon. And whenever i leave the room a skele drops in from teh ceiling.. Ive seen it happen too. There is also a chicken spawner somewhere and a chicken flutters down from the roof.. its annoying D:

So you might want to add some light at the top of your cave.

Most liekly a ledge that is large enough for Skeles to spawn. As for the chicken, theres probably a hole or two to the surface.

ugh why does everyone miss interpret what notch said on that single twitter post all he said was 'ghasts rarely spawn near portals' he was referring about ones in the slip(hell)(the core) what ever you want to call it basically providing a 'safe zone' when you first enter hell

Okay, I just made a new world, and explored, I found this cave, so i went in it, and omq a Dungeon :D
I made this world like 3 hours ago, and now the Dungeon is a Spider Exhibit, becuz it was spider spawner, and trapped dem spidars in there :D
