The water mob will obviously be a normal fish , not because Notch can't do better , but to annoy  and troll everyone that tought it'd be something cool.

I'd be perfectly fine with visible fish. As soon as the coding is released, the guy who made Mo'Creatures will try to make giant squids, sharks, dolphins, and sea serpents.
