Was kinda thinking the opposite.

Simplistic is nice and all,but I have plenty of those texture packs.

I would rather do something a bit more gruesome.

I want to go make my own texture pack as well, based off of Disco's OCD Pack (search it on google). Paint.net is what I should use, right?

I also like futuristic looking textures.

My vague idea was to have the building materials look medieval, but have some of the functioning items and blocks look steampunkish.

This Ghast is not missing 5 tentacles, because I drew it with 4.

*Which reminds me, I'm not sure if I should use "askghast" because it's simple and that's what people will randomly type in when searching for it or "askghastoutcast" because that's what it's about and it's kind of catchy.

I was using Paint.NET before Minecraft was just a twinkle in Notch's eye.

You could use both 'askghast' and 'askghastoutcast' and have one redirect to the other.
