Isn't there a way to play on a server with the same account? I want to play with my dad and teach him about minecraft

Log in to Minecraft on your dad's computer.
Let Minecraft download/open.
Exit Minecraft.
Remove your password, attempt to log in, and proceed to start it in offline mode.
Open Minecraft on your computer and log in.
Start server with "online-mode=false".
Get your dad to connect via local IP (192.168.###.###, etc.)
You connect via localhost.
INFINITE MINECRAFT (only works for 2 people)

the cause of my lag spikes, sadly, was my chicken farm. i slaughtered them all to see if they were causing it, and i haven't spiked since. is there any way around that? or should i just NOT mass farm chickens?

Persistant mobs. That's why I have huge ranches for all my animals. :D
