Wait, Now only I can join, I want to be able to host a server where my friends can join too.

If you and they use hamachi then you can do it that way and just have everyone join localhost

If you don't want to do that then you will need to port-forward, presumably for 25565, and then give them an IP address to join. You can then join via localhost.

So I'm making a space adventure and It's going to be the first adventure that I'm going to upload on the Minecraft forums!
(I've made quite a few adventure maps in my life)

It's going to have this creepy space theme with creepy music and creepy pistons and amazing lightning.





There's one problem tho, MCEdit wont work with the new minecraft so I don't know what other program I shoud use.

Whats the point of the VoxelBox in the Technic pack, the only difference I have found is some stuffty texture packs.

Technic pack Confuses me. Can someone give me a basic rundown?

Sure. Millenaire adds NPC villages that you can trade with and turn into allies. BuildCraft and IndustrialCraft add machinery that you can use to totally automate your world. It's really complex at times though so you should mess with it in creative first to get the hang of everything. Mo' Creatures adds a bunch of new animals, etc. Same with Better Dungeons. Thaumcraft adds a bunch of magic-esque items that revolve around "vis" as an energy source. Again, tinker with the components in creative. Equivalent Exchange adds a ton of powerful endgame gear. You can use EE to get rid of junk you don't need and turn it into diamonds. This, like other things in Technic, is hard to explain. Yogscast has done videos on almost every mod in the pack and they explain it very well, so I would check it out if I were you!
