There was a virus, but you would only get it by clicking on random ads and stuff like that, not from actually visiting the site.

It's a pre-release, not a snapshot. Not trying to be an ass - I'm saying this is literally the version which should be coming out soon as long as no major bugs get reported. It isn't a snapshot, which would never be released.
