This entire mod is what the forget.

What mod are you installing?

optifine I renamed and edited the json, jar and folder to 1.6.4 modded and added optifine 1.6.4 ultra in to the jar.. its not in the loving versions list. aaaaaaa

That's the hilariously difficult way to do it. Just install Minecraft Forge and put the optifine jar into the .minecraft/mods folder.



Forge also makes it easier to install other forge/modloader mods.
