1.'Notchgoesfullhipster.avi' I can understand wanting to make other games but he honestly admits to hating the massive fanbase mojang has and chose to instead use it to asist his other games chose the easy way out and resigned and cut it's ties by selling it to Microsoft.

He never said he hated it. He said that he couldn't handle it. I'd imagine if you have an army of 12-year olds screaming at you to fix something, it'd put a lot of pressure and frustration on you. It put a lot on Notch, so he simply left.

I've found older sources that say he owns 42%, and while I think the employees will get a bonus, there's no way in hell Notch is going to split up 2.5 billion among 40 employees, some of whom probably were never hired by him in the first place.

it's a company and when a company is sold there's generally a specific practice (depending on the kind of company i guess) to distributing the $$$

there's absolutely nothing that would prevent someone who got a larger share for some reason from giving some of theirs to the other people to split it fairly
