It is realistic.
It'll probably be really hard to get weapons, cause wood is rare in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Also, news, after he reintroduces old mobs to indev and adds the inventory system to Survival, he will start working on Survival Mode Multiplayer.

If its going to be as hard to find as I'm imagining, you're going to have to re-do your server.

When multiplayer survival comes out I'm going to host again frequently.
