Idk, that's a tough one because there aren't chemicals on MC. You could somehow soak the cloth block in water then put the wet cloth in a furnace and cook it with like, one stick or something.

How about not over complicating it and just make it flower+water(in jar)

That's what I suggested.

You could be able to put water in the jar like a bucket does. ( but not be able to replace water on the ground so you still have to have a bucket before you can move water)
