Let gravel fall on a sign.
Destroy sign.
Sign will turn black for a short time, gravel will be destroyed, extra sign will pop out, original sign will still be there.

And when you're done screwing around go tell Notch.

EDIT: But then you can never destroy the original  sign. D:

You have to go to the server folder and add your name to the admin list text file.

They can't drown, unless a canopy is put over them while they are under water.

Thats the only way to drown mobs. Because they auto surface :/
