how about you guys not be complete richardwads and go build your own fortresses and stuff instead of attacking ours

didn't I go over this before

I'm going to have my own stuff, herpderp, i'm just saying that he shouldn't expect to be able to repel an entire loving army with some stuffty series of wires and levers that can easily be COMPLETELY destroyed just with one step.

Speaking of Rky, I have more.

Updates:
I used a NOT gate so now the bottom switch must be the same as the top switch in all cases. This will make learning the code easier. Additionally, there is now actually a door and a third set of switches.

Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat and we could have a full 10-lever combo with this method.

i hope he understands that no matter what bullstuff security design he thinks of, we can easily hack through it with our pickaxes, TNT, and other stuff.
Hopefully Notch will add something we can do about that, such as stronger walls or something.

Otherwise we'll just surround everything with a pool of lava and armed guards. Remember that we have TNT as well.

Note: destroying the wires locks the doors.

But we can break your doors with your pick axes.

Which why some kind of alarm system would be nice. If the door slams shut, you can be notified in just enough time to show up on some hidden ledge and fire bows down on the attacker.

My main hope for multiplayer is that notch makes it harder to break stuff that isn't yours or naturally occuring.

also, my minecraft client goes black after it 'simulates the world for a bit'

what was the fix of this error?

double post

oh loving god thats awesome, I accidentally blew a hole in to the earth trying to do some extremely long range remote detonations, and I found this pit that leads REALLY, REALLY deep in to the bottom of the earth.

This better frekking happen.

I realize that after playing around with iron doors and copper wires and hidden switches, all complex security (as in, security other than a really thick wall) is ultimately pointless. The only security system that stops intruders involves switches that set off tnt to blow them up, but giving the masses time to force there way in.

Even combo locks are pointless because people could just brake down the door, or better yet, dig underneath. In the end, all the security system did was give you a warning so you can go and just fight off attackers.

all of your security systems, guise, are totally loving useless when compared to a patrolling guardsman.

How many? There is the slight chance they would not be in the correct area and see the attackers.
If I were a looter trying to get into a base, I would dig down a bit, cover up my hole, and dig underneath the walls. No matter how deep the walls go, you couldn't cover every single spot.

we need this
and super hard to get dynamite
because if not
this will become like resident evil 5 versus:
"HERP DERP ROCKET LAUNCHER
HERP DERP GRENADES
HERP DERP SHOTGUNS"

Really, who plays RE5 versus mode?
