I can't remember if it was here or another forum, but someone asked what stuff would be missing from tomorrow's SMP release. Here's a list:

• PVP
• Limited maps
• Server browsing
• Server passwords
• Mobs

So you won't be able to make TNT, bows, or arrows. On the bright side he got minecarts and boats to render today so they should work for the release.
