Yes :(

I/we should tweet him with the link to where he said he was shortly before Friday's update.
I added it to the splashes.txt myself lol.

Hell I couldn't juggle 1
I have my public bank, my bookshelf business, and then I am still trying to furnish my house.

Did he ever say he was going to add us into the yellow titles..?

Truce asked and Notch said yes

What's the yellow titles?

The yellow words that come up under "MINECRAFT" on the title screen

Here's an unfinished guide to stupid problems and stuff:

Currency

I've picked through the bullstuff currencies you use everyday and I've came up with a basic universal currency and it should work. If you don't agree, then tell me what to correct.

is the "coins" of this currency.

Therefore:
= 2 stacks of coal
= 1 stack of iron

Diamond doesn't count as currency, it's used for tools.

But you say "Miners get more money than the SUPREME ADMINSTRATORS OF MY SERVER"

This is where the MATERIAL DOUBLE REACH-AROUND comes in.

Miners must give half of ores and building material to the Government and Builders every time they mine.

Which is also called taxes

Supremely dislike^

IMO, Minecraft doesn't need a universal currency. Servers can choose to do what they want and bartering is a better method. That's exactly why Heals server had a clay currency, but my shop was ALL trading/bartering.

i like the whole trading and bartering system. much better :D

I try out Heal's server.
Why does it have to be down. :C
I might host the cabin map finally Kapturrith.

-snip-
So to get one iron you need to get 128 coal? You would need to mine 128 stacks of coal, 8192 pieces, to get one bar of gold? What is up with that garbage?

currency of any sort at all should stay the forget away from Minecraft

The reason currency doesn't work in Minecraft is that it doesn't have a government, the currency doesn't have trust, and all the currency people come up with in minecraft is all mineable/gatherable. You can't just go out in the real world, dig 400 feet in the ground, hit bedrock, and expect to find paper money.

Thank you.

Whoever wants universal currency in minecraft should be beat with a bat to the head until they can think logically.

I find the idea of having organized society and government in Minecraft absolutely ridiculous

People should build their stuff, mine their stuff, and stay out of other people's stuff

But that's just me
