There is a /Alpha/ multiplayer, and Creative. You get an IP for the /Alpha/ host, or a link for Creative servers.

The spots where there is calm water, but there is rushing water going into it, make it so the depth there is only 1 block, take the bucket, then put water in that spot. Then you can remove the block under it to fix how deep it was before.
