Probably just a glitch, but I don't really see a problem with just duplicating torches.

Unless he is duplicating other stuff too.

no you don't, on my old save i had a double chest completely full to the brim, then i started dropping them as i ran out of space in the chest (which i designated only for cobblestone :D)

I don't mean flowing water but in Creative single player and indev there were not only lakes and oceans but shallow short water ways that went between different lakes winding around mountains

hence me calling them rivers, for lack of a better term you see
