Alright, I've finalized my server.

HOWEVER I could not get the whole port thing to work, even though I followed it to the letter.

Thus, I am using Hamachi.

To connect, first download "unmanaged" hamachi, then install, then run it, then click on the "network" tab.

Then click on the "join a network" button.
The server name is "Minecraft server 16193"
The password is "minecraft"

Connect, then put the IP into minecraft and it'll work.
The hamachi server is not what minecraft runs on, it just is a way of port forwarding.

Anyway, this works 100% of the time.
 
EDIT: This is a PvP server.
PvP is not only allowed, but encouraged.
Form alliances, though, and work together...and crush all who stand in your way.
Mobs are also disabled.
