we have enough uses for iron not another one please
also it's probably the lightstone dust. why waste objects to craft a lantern when you can just use the lightstone ore itself for light?

By light stone I meant light stone dust but whatever.

Ok I finally bought it.
Started off on a beach and found a nice small cave so I only had to board up one wall.
I didn't understand crafting as I couldnt figure out how to seperate groups of items and looked it up and I felt bad for cheating but I only looked enough to know how to make poles and workbenches. I guessed for everything else I made.

Anyways things keep going and I am having fun just loving around in my cave and occasionally fought some spiders. At one point I was daring enough to build a sword and fought two creepers and set some trees on fire and lured a third into them. All was well. It was annoying though that I kept having to make a hole in my wall to leave my little cave so finally I screwed around enough to figure out how to make a door. I placed it and opened it and walked out side. I turned around to close it on my way out feeling very happy for myself wheSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

My first night in minecraft, I was confused because I didn't know how to get coal, so I punched coal until it became night and I died.

Started my second game, this time I started in the middle of a desert with a weird mountain thing with a forest grove nearby.

In the desert there was a random hole in the ground I fell in and found a cobblestone room with a chest with some bread in it and some weird brown things and beside the chest a weird bluemesh block with fire all over it.
I don't know what it was, and when I tried breaking it to see if i could pick it up but I couldn't.
What was that thing?

That was a dungeon. They're basically mob nests. The mob spawner would've spawned, well, mobs, if there hadn't been light flooding into the room.

Ok well I just died again. I was looking into a weird looking cave and a loud clang sound startled me and I fell into the cave and was killed by a skeleton >:(
This game doesn't like me.
