WHO WOULD COMMIT SUCH A HORRIBLE DEED ;-;
Nope. =/That's not how Kickstarter works. The person sets a donation goal that must be achieved by X date. If the donations do not reach the date set then all the money goes to Kickstarter. No money for the people who made the goal and no money back to the donaters.
If I make a pledge, when is my card charged?If the project you’re backing is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the project reaches its funding deadline. If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. That's why we call them pledges.If funding does not succeed do backers pay anything?Nothing. If funding fails, all pledges are canceled and that's that.
So they're making a new game when Minecraft isn't even finished?Smart...
What the hell, Daenth? Where did you come up with that stuff, then?
All-or-nothing funding?Every Kickstarter project must be fully funded before its time expires or no money changes hands.Why?1. It's less risk for everyone. If you need $5,000, it's tough having $2,000 and a bunch of people expecting you to complete a $5,000 project.2. It allows people to test concepts (or conditionally sell stuff) without risk. If you don't receive the support you want, you're not compelled to follow through. This is huge!3. It motivates. If people want to see a project come to life, they're going to spread the word.

Some guy did a Kickstarter for something as well. I believe it was for a game or something but he explained what it was about. Let me see if I can pull up the page on what is Kickstarter.EDIT:From: http://www.kickstarter.com/help/faq#WhatIsKickIn other words, that's how they make their money.
That means the "backers" pledges are canceled. The backers are the people who donate.. That means everybody gets their money back.
I wish minecraft.net login would start working
