So I'm playing the 404 challenge thing (modified a bit to my liking, I can only place torches inside my base.)
And whenever I go near this one part of my base, I hear an ogre getting louder and louder. I already fought off one earlier, it busted through my front door.

Hosting right now, griefing/being a nuisance etc. will get you permanently banned, no exceptions and no unbanning.

There is no giving of objects, mobs are on, and I will not reset daylight ever.

I was about to say 'yeah dogs just run around in the wild all the time!' but then I remembered that cows, sheep, pigs and chickens also don't run around in the wild.

I started a new map and it's working fine now; I'm not sure if that's your issue, however.
