What awesome powers do you have to make your trips to hell... negative?

None. I haven't even explored any caves to even bother looking for special ores. I'm pretty chicken :c But I'm just fine with my surface life with an above-ground lava pool, large lakes and a nearby desert full of cacti... On my main in 1.3, I died once. I think I'm waaay too paranoid.

The nether is easy. Zombie pig men have a glitch were thye won't attack you unless jumping. Just take there meat

There is a flood mod. It adds a gate that you can use to regulate flooding. Wait until it updates.

I only die when I go on huge trips and can't find my way back. I easily dodge Ghasts and I don't mess with Zombie Pigmen.
