Building a minecart track up my tower, when a skeleton appears. It lowers my health to half a heart and I run up the tower. I'm stuck in a corner, only exit to fall down and die with 2 zombies going up the stairs. I punch them, killing them. Finally safe. But NO. My wolves teleport to me for no reason and 5 of them fall off the tower. Oh yeah, did I mention the creeper that was in my house that killed me?

For my new huge project, I want a unique light source. My options are:

Netherrack
Glowstone

I've also thought of using lava, but I'm gonna put this on a server, and I dont want people to break the glass casing and cause chaos

There's mods that allow you do to this.

Those mods are really broken and almost always require some other stupid server-side mod, i.e. hMod or whatever.

It's going to be default, i.e. a part of the server .exe/.jar file.
