Get winrar
Search ".minecraft"
When you find that, go into the folder, and into the bin folder
You will see minecraft.jar
Open it up with winrar
Delete the folder meta-inf inside the .jar file
Paste the .class files located in the mod you downloaded into minecraft.jar

That should be it, before you can install and run anything you need a mod called modloader, it's installation is the same as any other mod.

They are, the forums are in read only mode.

Typical house inside, note the TNT. Lots of houses have treasure, but are loaded up the ass with TNT, so you have to be very careful or else you'll blow up.

I used TooManyItems for the stuff because I wanted to explore the houses, the water is to safely defuse TNT without any land damage. The ruins are part of a map generator mod, I might post a link tomorrow if someone wants it.
