EDIT: it's a 503 error, that means the server overloaded or it's down for maintenance. considering lulzsec say they were going to try it could be that or 1.7 is being updated into the game...

some guy was arguing with me about lulzsec, he said it was a huge threat. all they did was ddos and take the server down for 5 minutes, then notch was like "lolwtf, reboot" and everything was ok. he was all "omg they could get ur unfo and kill ju, u can't stop them, u can go aftur dem but they is 2 big. he then set me to their site to look at some stuffty film and further my claim that they can only ddos and get useless information. people are so stupid.

I found a cool trick, I maybe VERY LATE!

Minecraft runs slow for you? Then do this, this MAY not work for all computers:

step 1 open minecraft on login page
step 2 do Ctrl + Alt + Delete
step 3 Right click minecraft and click on go to process
step 4 right click javaw.exe
step 5 set priority to high
step 6 play minecraft
