Did anyone ever figure out what that orb thing on the side of the picture showing colored lighting was?

Another of the 41 seperate additions to 1.8? Imagine falling off that ^.^

Notice how there are NO resources except gravel, stone and dirt in that cliff. Obviously the resource designator stops at 128.
Also cloud height seems to have gone up by 400 blocks =D

GUYS if you like weird stuff try the seed "island" you do spawn on an island near land but it's insane. there's 3 dungeons and an insane drop off cave.
