Make the Aether portal the same as the Nether portal but with lightstone then place water inside it with a bucket of water to open it.

Erm...No. It's either winrar, winzip or 7zip. Besides...tell your dad that if the .jar would infect everything it would have done so as soon as you started up Minecraft.
