Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

I want to start a project in Minecraft but I my world to have the cool world generation stuff that 1.8 will have.


For this reason i will not be playing Minecraft until then.

After the update I'm probably going to keep playing on my current world, just create a new civilization really far away from the old on so I can generate the new stuff.

My guess is that dark blue is deep ocean, light blue is shallow water, blue lines trugh the land is rivers, diffrent colors is biomes.

My guess is that it involves the NPC villages. Continents are ruled by a certain village. The size of the continent depicts power in that village.

Just a guess. Could be something else though.

I would actually like that idea very much if it is true. You could simulate raids and such with some extra code.
