Someone tell me why this process doesn't work, and hopefully the correct process, please.

Delete META-INF before everything.

Also, as you install mods, copy paste and keep copies of Minecraft.jar for each mod you install.  Like you'll have the original 1.7.3, then 1.7.3 + modloader, then that plus some other mod, etc. etc.

That's what I do and it helps pinpoint any mod incompatibilities.

I'm getting some of the lower-end kickasss stuff in EE. Spent the last 30 minutes getting supplies to make a Destruction Catalyst and I just finished my Alchemical Chest and Repair Talisman. I flipped through the Recipe Book and holy stuff what does half this stuff even do

Falling Stones Frequency (0 to 1000): 30
Cave In Frequency (0 to 1000): 20
Eruption Frequency (0 to 1000): 10
Falling Stones Magnitude (1 to 100): 60
Cave In Magnitude (1 to 100): 40
Eruption Magnitude (1 to 100): 20

Falling Stones... you do realize the default magnitude is 1?? You're going to have extremely common massive cave-ins all over the place.
