I agree, it gets really annoying when you guys bitch about this stuff.
Just to let you guys know, you've already payed for the game, they've gotten what they wanted out of you. They are sitting pretty on a pile of cash from a game that got popular by luck alone. They don't need to be quick with releases, they already have a game that people have bought and will continue to buy. They have no loving obligation to update the game, that they do so is a service to you, don't bitch about it. Jesus water-walking christ.

You ungrateful little cunts, would you rather get the game in the same condition as the pre-release, they dont owe you anything. They could give you a stuff update that ruins the game but they want to make it as nice as possible even if it takes longer. Would you rather

Fast buggy release
      or
Slow but almost all bugs are gone.

I'd take the second option.

Personally I'm happy as it is with 1.8, and I can always switch to my modded copy of 1.7.3 and go back to playing that on a separate world save that I haven't used with 1.8.

Creative mode for me is just about bug free with only minor bugs, but nothing game breaking so far.
