I found a ravine in a swamp by falling into it. Took me half a loving day to get out.

Also, is it me, or is clay a lot more common now?

Everytime I sleep a monster comes out by my bed even though my bed isn't near the wall, all the doors are shut, there is no ways for monsters to get in, and the house is well lit.

That is weird.
I had assumed they fixed the being woken up by zombies stuff.
I have actually slept completely out in the open in the middle of an unlit field without getting woken up.

you're SUPPOSED to get woken up if not protected
that bed has to be TWO blocks away from the wall to be fully safe, the monsters are probably spawning on the roof and then falling down and getting too close

put the bed up against a corner and put a blocks on the other side
for me it prevents monsters from spawning and waking me up
