I got 5 FPS lag when I was in the Nether.

i went back to 1.8 and built an awesome house on the enderman islands . has anyone actually gotten out of the nether through a different portal and not spawned underneath a gigantic ocean?

the same reason you couldn't hold right click to place in 1.8 pre-release. it's glitched.
