what I'm saying is, implement it into the vanilla game

It doesn't have any game-ruining things like monsters that are weird or anything, and everything seems to fit in, so why not just

you know

PUT IT IN?

God dammit I really miss 1.7 now.

"they wont stop breeding!!!!!!!"

tsk tsk, research isn't allowed on this site, bisjac...

I would use the height mod but the paltry view distance in Minecraft makes it pointless. Why bother having a 512 block high world when you can't even see the ground from the top, let alone any substantial distance in the cardinal directions?

I've tried view distance mods in the past, but the stuffty impossible-to-optimize java coding made that unplayable.

In the "more world option" tab you can choose the height limit :p

No loving stuff.

If you receive horrible lagspikes in single player or something,
Get a better computer or set your default GPU to a better card for Minecraft.
Then set your settings down.
Graphics: Fast
Advanced OpenGL: On
And other stuff  that I can't be bother since I can't play right now

It has nothing to do with how good my GPU is. The game runs at 100+ fps with view distance to far, smooth lighting to max, graphics to fancy, and a 128x texture pack. I also allocated 2GB of RAM to Minecraft. I had no such problems with 1.7.3. It's a problem with the game, not my computer.
