Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6716170 times)

I wish that black space thing was a block usable in creative.

Also,

Subway stations. 3 in map. They all switch Z coordonates between them, but not X coordonates.

The first, at the spawn, is the most simple on the surface, but complex in the underground, the third and the second is the most complex on the surface, but both are simple (ugly) underground.

First subway station: http://gyazo.com/859ef5bc05be27f42a082f1695bad49d This is near "Z 500" coordonates and is near the spawn.
This is the entrance to it, as said, the inside is complex, the outside is stupid: http://gyazo.com/a7297133ef840d8cb921694dcaa91ae4

The second subway station, near "Z 0", is more complex on the surface, the underground just being stairs straight to the top. Reason: The place was actually in the middle of the ocean, I used external editors to place land over the water and level it up, but some of the water apparently still stayed there. FYI: Building big stuff in water is a pain in the ass. (Same story with the third)

And finally the third, most complex at the surface, a bit better than the second at the underground, near "Z 1000", the same story, the coordonate ended up in the middle of the ocean, so I used an editor to place land nearby, but there was still a bunch of water around, but not as much, so I made it better.

Personally I like the third subway the most.

As usage:
The first, at the spawn, just connects the other two together; I mean, it's at the spawn after all...
The second, Z 0, is just another city, like the spawn, except that it's on a lonely land half snow half grass; plus the houses are more nicely themed.
The third, Z 1000, would be the "player island", a town is not gonna be built there, but I will try to build stuff there in a manner to get a use for all (most?-of) the current stuff in creative, the spawn and the second city will also do that, but on a smaller scale.

The spawn city is mostly complete, but I kinda want to keep it as "hidden" from screenshots until I get a final build.

Do enchanting tables do anything yet?

Do enchanting tables do anything yet?

make glossy powerful tools/amors

Just wondering, but why are you taking on that attitude? People write up their own guides all the time, and when a boy does it, the post is completely ignored. :nes:

Not like she doesn't have the skills to do it, but your enthusiasm is a bit awkward. Also not saying I can't be accused of the same, but still.

Each spell will cost the player experience levels but in turn allow the player to enchant armor and swords so that they will last longer, be more powerful and give their color more of a gloss look.

it add on armor/tools the glossy effect of the golden apple

So to start off with being a drifter, you're going to want to get mainly surface materials for a full day. Wood, seeds, wool, food, etc. You're going to need alot of wood, so be sure to get at least 2-3 stacks.

Next, you're gonna want to make a house nearby a main town on the server, but not one that attracts much attention. You won't be living in it often, so make sure you always hide your chest and other valuables, as you are going to want to store your most valuable items in it while you are drifting from place to place. A house nearby a town on my friend's server:

The town is literally directly behind it. Nobody really ventures along this way, so all they see is an odd rock formation.

The ideal "main house" will be by the main town and a cave. Any cave will do really, though I suggest it's deep so you have a better chance of getting lots of coal and iron.

Loot the whole cave, and make full iron tools and lots of torches. Be sure to have leftover coal, because you will need it to cook your food while you're drifting.

Once your ready, leave your house and just run in one direction. Remember which direction you are running, or write down your coords, so you don't forget where the main town is when you're ready to trade.

For my normal inventory for drifting, I take my tools, torches, wood, furnace, crafting table, bed, and food.

You will want to run in one direction all day, and if the area you are running in is flat enough, all night. But if you're in some kind of mountainy area, just take shelter in a tree. Be sure, again, to not attract attention. Pick up all your stuff that you used for your camp and keep running the next day, and just keep repeating the process until you have found a lot of materials from looting caves, dungeons, villages, strongholds, abandoned mineshafts, everything. Once you're ready, return home and trade, get rich, whatever.

This is the system I use for most every server I go to, I hope it helps people. e.e

it add on armor/tools the glossy effect of the golden apple
