One diamond isn't enough for a sword. It's only enough for a shovel. Also you could make a record player too.

But I think the better investment is an enchantment table.

Anyway, why the hell do silverfish even exist? They just... they don't do anything. They seem to only attack you once and after that they just push you. They're annoying at best.

That still wouldn't be much but that's better than the current silverfish. My beef is that they spawn in front of end portals like they're supposed to protect it but they do a horrible job at that. They should just be minor details, that way it's okay for them to be completely pointless.

I'd like it if silverfish spawned in dark, wooden, damp areas of your house, where the light level is sub-par, water is dripping from above, next to an ocean, lake, or river, etc. When they eat paper or wooden blocks you'd see the breaking blocks particles being emitted and the eating sound. Bookshelves would drop 1 or 2 books and 3-4 planks when eaten, planks would drop 2-3 sticks when eaten.
