Pics?
Yeah:

Default village house that I've called home for the past in-game week or so. Cozy, but in desperate need of an overhaul.

This is where I wish I took a before picture. The technical 'center' of town, the blacksmith's and a library, both original except for the blacksmith's roof. You can also see the wall coming in that will seperate the inner city from the outer more industrial/agricultural sections.

Here you can see the vast desert that I've been living in for the past while, luckily with a small grassy plain to break the desolate landscape. This is also my progress on a stone-expensive wall that has consumed any bit of stone from...

The first of my many excavations. :D
Cavern at the bottom is mineral rich and great for me starting out.

My renovated farmlands. They used to dot the landscape of the village, but I decided to be more efficient I'd build them together in one section of town. Beautiful when they are in full maturity, haven't had the need to harvest because of massive amounts of wheat from the first harvests while I was in town.

And lastly, my little breeding experiment, considering it's my first time with Minecraft's breeding mechanics I kinda got carried away leading animals from the plains to my desert abode.

Anyways, I've been having fun, and getting back into Minecraft is fun as hell anyways. :D

No idea where this village is in relation to the spawn.

no i mean you can borrow into it but putting your house RIGHT under the mountain creepers will spawn up on the top and glitch out and blow you up and kill you when you leave you home. moron.
"glitch out"?  I've never had mobs glitch anywhere in singleplayer.  Stop having a sucky computer.

what, the 9/11 jokes?
Apparently.  Not like other countries have their own stuff that us Americans make fun of constantly.

I just listened to the joke they made.  It's on par with anything the internet would say about 9/11.

Its not like they were being serious.

I live in New York. We don't joke about it, we don't talk about it. You want to talk about something, go talk about FC.

I'm American and crying over this is stupid.

Think of it like this - It's like Fight Club: You don't talk about it, you don't joke about it, etc. But as someone else said, you can't expect much from the internet. However, I expected more from people who know they have a wide audience. The government does not go on television joking about tragedies...

Guys, it's obvious that some people will be more offended than others over a tragedy.  The same logic can be applied to any tragedy that gets joked about by the internet.  Sure, you can make a 9/11 joke and make some people laugh but there will always be people who won't laugh.
